Roger Veldman is a professor of engineering at Hope College in Holland, Michigan who is active in research regarding explosively loaded structures. He has conducted both experimental and numerical work to understand explosive effects. Roger has received continuous research funding since 2001 for various research projects from the Federal Aviation Administration, the Transportation Security Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. He also teaches a variety of undergraduate mechanical engineering including the capstone engineering design course.
